Before coaching, I enjoyed a long, varied career in healthcare — everything from inpatient/outpatient medicine as a registered nurse to hospital administration as an executive for BJC Health System (St. Louis, Missouri’s leading healthcare organization). I developed and directed a post-residency program at Washington University School of Medicine.
I ran my own healthcare consulting firm specializing in strategic planning, leadership development and contract negotiation for hospitals. During this time, I noticed something missing in my client work: Despite strategies for improvement, many clients — smart, talented, motivated people — were unable to make positive changes. I wanted to help these people in a deeper way that inspired them to take action. Today my professional experience coupled with my Martha Beck Institute coaching certification and membership in the International Coach Federation allow me to do just that.
Our life coaching agenda is intertwined with executive life coaching and our focus will be on specific measurable outcomes.
My ability to listen empathetically, understand conflicting points of view and create focus help people raise self-awareness, clarify ambitions and make positive changes. My results-oriented approach is bold yet lighthearted, serious yet spirited, and above all highly effective at helping my clients think bigger and be more confident in pursuing their goals.
